Hotels and Motels Which Accept Pets During
Disasters in Washington, Walton and Jackson Counties
WALTON COUNTY, FLORIDA
Walton County is in a COASTAL AREA, subject to storm surge
along the coast. Inland however, rainfall flooding is still
a possibility. Accommodations in the area are sparse, as Walton
County includes many mobile home residents who must find shelter
elsewhere in a hurricane threat. Visitors should not seek
shelter in Walton County if the surrounding areas are included
in a hurricane WATCH or WARNING. The area would be able to
provide accommodations for a very limited number of evacuees
from other areas if the storm threat does not include Walton
County.
